The team advises employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, handling everything from day-to-day workplace issues through to more complex disputes and strategic advisory work.

Due to continued growth within the Manchester office, the team is now looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Employment Lawyer to support its expanding practice and play a key role at that level.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Work closely with experienced Employment lawyers on a varied mix of contentious and advisory matters.
  • Advise employer clients on a broad range of workplace and HR-related issues.
  • Assist with Employment Tribunal matters and wider employment disputes.
  • Support on advisory, corporate support and transactional employment work.
  • Gain exposure to a wide variety of clients across different sectors and industries.
  • Develop strong client relationships and commercial awareness from an early stage in your career.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor or due to qualify shortly into employment law.
  • Strong employment seat experience gained during training at a market leading and reputable firm.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
  • First rate academics and solid technical foundations.
