About the Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Manager F&B Manager, you will supervise all aspects of the Restaurant and Bar in the hotel, maintaining consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction and supporting Holiday Inn brand standards and hotel targets.

What is the job?

You will play a crucial part in the day-to-day running of F&B operations – working as part of the Management Team, ensuring smooth operation, high standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the F&B team during service shifts
  • Ensure all areas of responsibility are run effectively in the absence of the Head of Department, aligned to standards and resource requirements
  • Meet targets and objectives, aligning them with department goals
  • Ensure the F&B team follows Holiday Inn brand standards on a daily basis
  • Meet and greet customers, checking requirements and communicating relevant information
  • Check that all beverages and food items are prepared and served according to company standards and within regulations
  • Maintain product knowledge of the hotel facilities
  • Supervise staff to deliver high service and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement measures to meet quality targets
  • Handle guest complaints/issues timely and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and conduct risk audits
  • Keep staff/work areas tidy, safe and report hazards
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties and support Manager on duty when required

Required Criteria

  • Experience within a Food and Beverage role
  • Proven experience supervising and directing others with a hands‑on approach
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure while motivating the F&B team
  • Good communication and organisational skills

Desired Criteria

  • Experience within the hospitality industry as a supervisor
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent qualification
