Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established client in Lisburn who are expanding their canteen team and are looking for an experienced Assistant Cook to join them on a permanent basis.
Location: Lisburn
Pay Rate: £12.71+ per hour
Hours: Monday Friday | 8:00/9:00am 4:00pm (to be confirmed)

The Role:
Youll support the day-to-day running of the kitchen while helping prepare and serve high-quality food in a clean, safe, and organised environment.
Key duties include:
- Assisting with the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, health & safety, and fire safety standards
- Ensuring cleanliness throughout the kitchen and serving areas
- Completing HACCP and due diligence documentation accurately
- Operating the till when required
- Supporting with additional operational duties as needed
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar kitchen or catering role
- Basic Food Hygiene certification
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Reliable, hardworking attitude with good attention to detail
