Technical Author
Location: Dungannon, Co. Tyrone
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
Talent Curve are recruiting for a Technical Author to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business specialising in heavy equipment solutions for global markets.
Youll play a key role in supporting product development, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement by producing high-quality documentation across a wide product range.
The Role
You will work closely with engineering, design, and sales teams to create and maintain technical documentation that supports products throughout their lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing user guides, maintenance manuals, troubleshooting documentation, and technical specifications
Translating complex engineering information into clear, accessible content
Liaising with internal teams and customers to gather accurate product data
Supporting sales teams with technical specifications and customer-facing documentation
Reviewing and improving existing technical documentation processes
What Were Looking For
Essential:
Technical writing or technical publishing experience
CAD design exposure
Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator
Desirable:
Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline
Manufacturing or heavy equipment industry experience
Quarrying or recycling equipment sector knowledge
