About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Engineer II to join a growing technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that support key business operations across sales, marketing, customer success, and service functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, including custom development, integrations, automation, and platform optimisation. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Configure and customise Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other platform capabilities as required.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Optimise platform performance, security, and scalability following Salesforce best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and sprint planning activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation using tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- SOQL/SOSL
- Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
- Salesforce APIs and integrations
- Experience working with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in Claude
