The Letterkenny site specializes in designing and manufacturing customized, pre-fabricated modular data center buildings and power solutions.

We are seeking two Project Engineer Electrical Engineers to join the team

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Designing and developing modular buildings for customized solutions in accordance with highest standards and demanding requests.
  • Electrical design on projects (Electrical, Fire Alarm and Controls systems) during factory integration in Letterkenny
  • Integration with other disciplines; architectural, structural, mechanical. Focus on general design, concepts, calculation, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cooperation with the design team in the development of CD (construction documentation) sets
  • Preparation of manufacturing documentation
  • Preparing BoMs for installation material and non-critical equipment
  • Engineering supervision and support when equipping modules at the factory (Letterkenny)
  • Engineering support to service team and subcontractors
  • Involvement during the design stage trough content and constructability review, responsible for providing feedback (comments) into the design community.
  • Collaboration with local service and with the company operations team (project management, quality control, manufacturing, testing team and construction) in defining a project deployment strategy and executing the project
  • Responsible for:
    • As Built Documentation
    • FAT procedures (L3)
    • Installation manuals
    • Assisting with Punch list items
    • Etc.
  • Communication with other Vertiv engineering specialists in order to implement the best solutions
  • Collaborate with local service to beneficially improve project execution
  • Engineering supervision and support during site constructions and commissioning
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor or master's in electrical engineering
  • Required experience 1+ years on similar positions
  • Active user of: Windows, MS Office incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
  • Proficient modeling skills required, preferred: Revit; EPLAN
  • Strong knowledge of English language, (B2)
