An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Lighting Controls Sales Engineer to join a growing lighting controls and energy solutions business.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has an interest in lighting controls, intelligent buildings, and energy-efficient technologies. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting sales activities through technical assistance, quotations, and customer engagement - while receiving structured training and development to build both technical and commercial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers and consultants with lighting controls enquiries

  • Assist with project quotations and basic system designs

  • Attend customer and consultant meetings (independently or with senior colleagues)

  • Help prepare technical presentations and CPD materials

  • Support the handover process from sales to project delivery

  • Maintain accurate CRM records

  • Travel nationally as required

  • Skills & Experience

  • Basic understanding of lighting controls (DALI knowledge preferred)

  • Exposure to lighting, electrical, BMS, or building services environments

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Professional and customer-focused approach

  • Willingness to learn and develop technical and commercial skills

  • Comfortable using MS Office and CRM systems

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
