A highly regarded London law firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property / Trade Marks Associate (4-7 years PQE) to join its established Intellectual Property team. This firm has a strong reputation for advising high-profile clients on brand protection, trade mark strategy, and intellectual property enforcement, offering excellent exposure to top-tier work.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a varied and complex caseload, including:

Advising on trade mark and design availability, registration, and portfolio management

Developing trade mark enforcement strategies and handling disputes

Managing UK and international trade mark filings

Drafting and negotiating trade mark-related agreements

Advising on brand protection, licensing, and commercialisation

Representing clients in trade mark proceedings where necessary

Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior team members

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Intellectual Property Solicitor (England & Wales) and/or UK Trade Mark Attorney

4-7 years' PQE in IP / trade mark law, ideally within a leading London practice

Strong technical expertise and commercial acumen

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage a busy and varied workload with a high level of accuracy

A proactive, client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
