Warehouse First Line Manager – Days

Pay Rate: £32,000.00Grade: RCS NContract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off Days 06:00 – 17:30Location: Skelmersdale – WN8 8DY

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
• To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
• Overseeing Health and Safety within the warehouse, to ensure a safe and compliant workplace

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have experience managing or supervising people, in a warehouse / supply chain setting
• Have experience managing next-day or time-critical order fulfilment processes
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct line reports
