Role Overview

As a Tax Manager you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Tax Partners, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver to a varied portfolio of larger and more complex compliance clients.
  • Deliver tax advisory work to business owners, including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax and estate planning.
  • Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research.
  • Provide a technical resource to our network of smaller accountants, whether by phone or email support service.
  • Support with the management, training and development of junior team members.

Qualifications

  • ACCA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years PQE gained in Tax practice.
  • Have solid experience of advising OMBs on a range of tax issues including corporation tax, income tax and capital gains tax.
  • Have exposure to VAT issues – an advantage but not necessary.
  • Have a proactive attitude, whether a task is complicated or simple, big or small.
  • Be a fantastic communicator and thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
