Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on complex UK and international real estate tax matters, shaping strategic solutions for investors, funds, and developers.
- Oversee and provide high‑level tax advice on acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, developments, and restructurings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Direct tax due diligence processes, identify key risks, and recommend optimal structuring opportunities to support transactions and long‑term investment strategies.
- Design, implement, and oversee tax‑efficient holding, financing, and fund structures, including joint ventures and co‑investments, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a key point of contact and strategic advisor for stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior and mid‑level team members, fostering technical excellence and career growth within the team.
- Act as a trusted advisor for ongoing client compliance, reporting, and investor‑related tax obligations, proactively anticipating client needs.
- Manage multiple engagements and budgets across teams, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and profitability.
Qualifications
- A number of years experience in real estate tax.
- Strong writing, analytical, research and organizational skills.
- Experience leading client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment.
- ACA or CTA qualified.
