NHS Borders dietetic department is looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate paediatric dietitian to provide clinical expertise and leadership. This Band 7 Paediatric Dietitian Team Lead post holds a senior, specialist role responsible for managing clinical workloads and leading staff in paediatric services. The role involves high-level clinical decision-making, service development, and patient safety.
This 12-month fixed-term post covering maternity leave offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced dietitian who is ready to step into a senior leadership role and broaden their professional portfolio.
You will lead a small, dynamic clinical team within the Nutrition and Dietetic Service, overseeing patient care, managing complex, specialist caseloads in acute and community settings. The post will be based at Borders General Hospital and include travel throughout the Borders to deliver service needs.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will take a proactive role in patient care, service improvement, education and pathway development, and work across a range of teams and specialities. This post is ideal for someone looking to develop leadership capability, influence service direction and contribute to innovative practice.
