Their experience should include preparing desk studies, specifying ground investigations, producing interpretative reports, and designing foundations, slopes, basements, and other geotechnical structures. A strong understanding of UK project environments and ground conditions is essential, while familiarity with the local civil engineering market is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in project management and financial control is also required.

They will be an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in mentoring and supporting junior staff. This role is well suited to a dynamic individual with the ambition to grow and develop a high‑performing team.

Skills required:

  • Chartered Engineer in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Specialist Geotechnical qualification, e.g. MSc or similar is desirable
