Position Overview
Engineering firm specializing in civil/surveying/telecommunications projects throughout New England is searching for a Senior Civil Engineer with experience designing and permitting proposed development projects. Residential single‑home site design and commercial/site development experience encouraged. Must be self‑motivated, detail oriented, capable of working in a fast‑paced environment, and effectively manage projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Active MA or RI P.E. license.
- Experience with AutoCAD 2020, Civil 3D (grading, profiles, cross‑sections), and HydroCAD for drainage/hydrology.
- Experience with environmental permitting.
Skills
- Solid understanding of engineering theory and concepts and their application.
- Proficient in current technology (tablets, smartphones, laptops).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or other CAD platform.
- Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
