We operate a hybrid work model that combines in‑person work (at client sites or AlixPartners offices) with remote work. The position requires travel, the frequency of which may vary by client, team, and circumstance.

What You’ll Do

As part of a graduate‑level role, you will support our Risk Advisory service line with a focus on eDiscovery & Data Forensics. You will collaborate closely with AlixPartners experts to address complex issues in commercial litigation, business valuations, and investigations.

Examples of Work Within Our eDiscovery Services Include

  • Establish and implement protocols for the eDiscovery life cycle, including internal standards and best practices for preservation and collection of electronic evidence.
  • Find, compile, organize, categorize, and verify case‑critical data across the full life cycle of the eDiscovery process – preservation, collection, processing, review, and production.
  • Utilize industry‑standard software tools to perform custom solutions for client requirements.
  • Advise clients on data collection for large‑scale litigation cases, including document retention and chain‑of‑custody procedures.
  • Create and manage large data sets to ensure electronic files are easily accessible for potential litigation.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree – STEM subjects preferred but not required.
  • Strong record of academic achievement; internship experience in legal, data, or related fields preferred.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently, with an entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of an organization, with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft SQL Server, Alteryx, Python, advanced MS Excel, PowerBI, PowerShell, Microsoft Access, Relativity, or Brainspace is viewed favorably.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours, especially as unique projects or needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
  • Commitment to familiarizing with, promoting, and abiding by AlixPartners’ Code of Conduct and fostering an inclusive environment at all organizational levels.
