The Company currently has a vacancy for a Chief Engineer in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start date: 24/05/2026. Position: Permanent. Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.
Suitable candidates must have worked in a Chief Engineer capacity previously and should hold a UK CoC / UK FSE. Non‑UK candidates willing to apply for the UK equivalent certificate of competency (UK FSE) may also be considered.

Chief Engineer is responsible for
- The technical status of the ship, its machinery and propulsion systems, and ensuring that all equipment installed onboard is in an operational condition.
- Ensuring the vessel complies with relevant rules and regulations issued by the authorities of the flag of the vessel, Classification Society, IMO, Port Authorities, and the vessel's owners’ management.
- Carrying out the safe, efficient, and economic operation and maintenance of all machinery, systems, and specialist equipment permanently installed on board, as well as maintaining the fabric of the vessel.
- Ensuring that, in all circumstances and at all times, an effective and efficient watch is maintained in the engine room.
- Reporting defects via company approved planned maintenance system.
- Promptly updating status and content of defects within the company approved planned maintenance system to keep them up to date.
- Requisitioning stores, spares, and equipment for the Engine Department.
- Delegating tasks to Engine Room staff.
- Actively promoting and progressing the company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
- Actively promoting inter‑departmental communications.
