Job Description
We are hiring a Global Planning Account Director to lead one of the world’s most influential and innovative brands at a truly global scale. This role sits at the heart of our international planning team, shaping media strategy for Meta’s Brand Product Marketing portfolio across multiple markets. You’ll play a pivotal role in turning ambition into action — partnering closely with senior clients, local markets and specialist teams to deliver work that drives growth and cultural impact. What you’ll be doing
- Owning day‑to‑day leadership of Meta’s global planning work, ensuring consistently high standards across markets
- Acting as the primary client partner for your portfolio, building trusted, long‑term relationships
- Leading annual planning, global strategy and measurement projects in partnership with senior stakeholders
- Guiding teams to deliver integrated media plans across brand, performance and innovation
- Creating clarity and momentum across complex workstreams, from rapid‑response campaigns to long‑term initiatives
- Developing and supporting managers and executives, fostering collaboration, confidence and growth
- Identifying opportunities to evolve ways of working, improve processes and strengthen the Meta partnership
Skills we’re looking for
- Proven experience leading media planning and client relationships within a media agency environment
- Confidence working across both traditional and digital media channels at scale
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build alignment
- Experience managing and developing teams with empathy and accountability
- A strategic mindset, paired with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Comfort working across international markets and with multiple stakeholders
- Curiosity about technology, innovation and the changing media landscape
