Team Leader / Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Keighley, BD22 7; Service: Children’s Home (2-bed); Service Users: Young people aged 6–12 (EBD, trauma, neglect, CSE); Staffing ratio: 2:1; Contract: Permanent, full-time (average 37 hours per week).
Essential requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an Ofsted-registered children’s home
- Completed or Enrolled on Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent; Level 3 in Health and Social is not equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Candidates on a Visa or who require sponsorship, please do not apply.

You’ll support young people day-to-day, build healthy relationships, and engage them in meaningful activities (from crafts to cinema trips), while maintaining clear routines, boundaries, and high standards of care.
Salary and sleep-ins
Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker (Full Time) – Salary (includes 8 sleep-ins per month): £34,163 – £35,668 per annum.
Residential Child Care Worker (Full Time) – Salary: £28,265 – £29,674 per annum; Sleep-ins: 1–2 per week (8 per month adds approximately £4,000 per year). Pay per sleep-in: £50. Welcome bonus: £500 (where applicable).
