We are looking for a reliable, organised Assistant Sales & Operations Manager to support the management and day‑to‑day running of the business.
This is a hands‑on role suited to somebody from a roofing supplies, builders merchant, manufacturing, warehouse or distribution background looking to progress within a growing business.
Assistant Sales & Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Supporting sales activity and helping identify opportunities within existing accounts
- Working closely with customers, merchants and suppliers
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Assisting with customer enquiries, quotations and general account support
- Supporting day‑to‑day operations across production and distribution
- Managing stock levels and helping coordinate deliveries
- Assisting with production scheduling and warehouse organisation
- Supporting the wider team to ensure orders go out accurately and on time
- Monitoring quality standards and helping maintain health & safety procedures
- Assisting management with reporting and operational improvements
Ideal Candidate
- Organised
- Proactive
- Good communicator
- Comfortable managing people and solving problems
- Experience in sales, trade supplies, warehouse operations or manufacturing preferred
- Must have knowledge and experience of roofing products and building plastics
- Confident using Excel and operational systems
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable speaking with customers and handling day‑to‑day sales enquiries
