Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Commissioning Team within the fast paced and rewarding area for the Education, Children and Justice Services Directorate.
The successful applicant will commission and contract manage multiple provisions for children's and young people's care and support services. The post holder is crucial to support and deliver the key objectives of the service.
You will work with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams to find the best solution through local and national contracting agreements. You will be confident working with procurement and finance teams and collaborate with providers and partner agencies to deliver on agreed KPIs.
Responsibilities

- Support delivery of key service objectives
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, providers, and partner agencies
- Deliver on agreed KPIs through local and national contracting agreements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Energetic, agile, creative, and kind; able to make best use of local resources
- Trauma informed, relationships and strengths based social work foundation (Social Worker or Registered Manager preferred)
- Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check; if spent continuous 3+ months outside UK in last 5 years, overseas criminal record check required
- Willingness to provide pre-employment checks; conditional offer subject to satisfactory outcome
