Role overview

Job Title: Product Assessor

Contracts available: 10 week fixed term contracts

Hours: 16 hours per week, 24 hours per week, 32 hours per week, 40 hours per week

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Location: Hemlock Way, Cannock

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately assess suitability of items for sale through evaluation of garment safety, product defects, seasonality and potential value to customer
  • Implement the appropriate recycling process where an item is ‘unsaleable’
  • Assess garment selling price
  • Work at pace to ensure targets have been met
  • Pre‑retail stock in line with retail guidelines
  • Ensure stock is de‑branded and labelled accurately in accordance with label management guidelines

Qualifications

  • Passion for fashion and homeware with up-to‑date knowledge of current trends and appreciation for market values
  • Experience working in a warehouse or processing environment
  • Great communicator who can make informed decisions, work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to work at pace
