We are supporting a global organisation on the appointment of a Data Manager to help shape and mature their data capability during a significant period of transformation and growth.
Operating across almost 100 international markets, this business delivers complex solutions for major global consumer brands and offers a genuinely interesting environment for someone who enjoys working across large-scale, fast-moving and highly matrixed organisations.
This is not a traditional reporting-focused role. The business is specifically looking for someone with a strong Data Engineering / modern cloud data platform background, combined with the ability to lead stakeholders, improve governance and help drive a more data-driven culture.
The Role
You will play a key role across:
- Data strategy & governance
- Modern data architecture & integrations
- Data quality & operational reporting
- Stakeholder engagement across international teams
- Leadership of a small global team
- Supporting wider digital transformation initiatives
The position offers a rare opportunity to genuinely influence direction, shape processes and help build the future data capability of the organisation.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in Data Management, Data Engineering or Data Leadership roles
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms (Azure environment preferred)
- Experience across data architecture, integrations and governance
- Ability to operate within complex, global environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
- Comfortable driving change and improving ways of working
Package
- £85,000 – £90,000 base salary
- Bonus based on company performance
- Pension & life assurance
- 25 days holiday + option to buy more
- Remote / hybrid working
