About the role: Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is recruiting on behalf of The MEH Alliance. We’re looking for a skilled Supply Chain Specialist – Bulks (Piping) to support the delivery of the Sizewell C project, one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes.
This role will play a key part in delivering value through effective procurement, ensuring a robust and high-performing supply chain to support project success. You’ll be part of a high-profile nuclear infrastructure project, working within a collaborative alliance environment that promotes excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
Location: Bristol (Aztec West) – minimum 2 days per week on site.
What you'll be doing
- Support the development and refinement of procurement strategies aligned to project needs.
- Lead the end-to-end ITT (Invitation to Tender) process for services and equipment.
- Develop and implement long-term contracting strategies.
- Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across SZC and MEH teams.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining market awareness.
- Develop supplier relationships to enhance quality, cost efficiency and delivery.
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Degree or relevant professional qualification preferred.
- Strong team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Able to obtain a security clearance.
