Join our HR & OD Team as an OD Consultant and be at the forefrontofhelping the council develop a flexible, highlyskilledand capable workforce.
This is a 12-month role focused on supporting major change activity across our core transformation areas, helping services simplify how they work, improve outcomes for residents, and build a high-performing, joined-up organisation.

Our goal is to ensure we have the right people, with the right skills and attitudes, in the right jobs, at the right time.
You will work directly with services, and programme leads to deliver change across our key focus areas, including how we run the council, improve resident experience, strengthen value for money, and make better use of data and technology. This is a hands-on role, supporting real-time change. Youll help design and deliver change plans, engage teams, and ensure new ways of working are adopted and sustained.
We are looking for a candidate who holds a degree in a relevant field or has equivalent professional experience. Youshould have expert knowledge and proven experience in organisational development,particularlyin the areas of equality,diversityand inclusion.A proventrack recordof successfully implementingcultural and change management initiatives within large, diverse organizationsis essential.Experience of co-ordinating multi-agency and partnership working in the delivery of joint outcomesisalsorequired, along with a commitment to continuous improvement andthe application ofsystems thinking principles.
