The successful candidate will help maintain business support service standards while delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.As part of a wider team, you will contribute to the delivery of a modern, professional, high-quality and responsive business support service.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and clerical support across a range of departments * Support the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused business support service * Assist with maintaining business support service standards * Respond to internal and external customer queries in a professional manner * Use management information systems to record, update and access information * Handle financial transactions and maintain accurate associated records * Prepare, update and manage documents using Microsoft Office applications * Support the wider team in delivering corporate and business plan objectives * Maintain accurate records and documentation * Work flexibly across different functions as requiredEssential CriteriaApplicants must have:4 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent, plus 1 year of experience providing administrative or clerical supportOR3 years of experience providing administrative or clerical support in lieu of qualificationsApplicants must also have:6 months of experience using a Management Information System * Customer service experience * Experience handling financial transactions and maintaining associated records * Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
