Job Description Interim Senior Employee Relations Manager to join a large-scale public sector organisation on an initial 3 months + contract via Hays. This is a critical leadership role within the HR function, responsible for providing oversight of employee relations (ER), including leading on complex ER cases and leading a specialist team, and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, consistent and legally compliant ER service.Lead and manage a team of ER professionals, driving performance, capability, and service improvement Act as the senior escalation point for complex and high-risk ER cases, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes. Partner with senior stakeholders, HR Business Partners, and Trade Unions to deliver effective and collaborative solutions. Support the development and implementation of people strategies, ER policies, and cultural initiatives Use data, insight, and trends to inform decision-making and improve ER service delivery Person SpecificationWe are looking for an experienced HR professional who can operate at pace in a complex environment: Significant experience in employee relations leadership, ideally within the NHS or wider public sector Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and delivering short-term impact The Offer3-month contract + potential for longerWorking via Hays on a weekly contract basisPAYE or Umbrella options available.
