Sites Manager – Carmarthen, Wales

Salary: 17.19 per hour

The Role

The role of the Site Manager is to be responsible for the cleaning operations on their site across multiple modes of transport.

Role responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the cleaning provision across their sites by managing a remote team and producing a consistent approach and a service that meets and aims to exceed expectations.
  • Provide management information by collating data across train counts, audits and budgetary information to ensure TfW can make informed decisions relating to the cleaning provision.
  • Coordinate operational activities of the teams by being accountable for the schedule and conducting audits to ensure that the sites run effectively and provide a good customer service.
  • Conduct cleaning audits by visiting sites, go through local audits, stock check, PPE overview and employee logs to ensure the cleaning provision is compliant.
  • Oversee the performance metrics of the sites by reviewing the performance reports collated by the Supervisor to keep the team motivated and provide a best in class cleaning service.

Who we’re looking for

  • IWFM Level 3 (for the FM Training), and BICSc LTP (Licence to Practice)/Skills Training.
  • Previous experience managing Cleaning or Facilities industry within operations and operational functions.
  • Understand Health and Safety policies and procedures in the cleaning industry.
  • Experience of managing and motivating a dispersed and diverse workforce.
  • Previous experience of managing wages and shift patterns of numerous sites.

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
