We are committed to delivering high standards of person - centred care in our busy and modern home, we provide choices and independence ensuring our Residents feel safe and supported in their home.We are looking for dynamic and caring, Care Assistants, to provide personal care and support to residents as directed by senior staff. To maintain a clean, fresh and homely environment, providing person centred care for individuals and groups of residents consistent with their needs through the provision of a range of duties including personal care and meaningful activities.
You will support residents throughout the day to maintain their independence, assist and support them as required. You will engage and listen to Residents preferences in how they would like to be cared for. Your role will include responding to enquiries from a wide range of people, including families and health professionals.
To undertake this role effectively, you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving and people skills. We are looking for organised individuals with a positive, can do approach and be able to work well under pressure with Senior Supports.
The successful candidates should hold an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or SVQ 2 Health and Social Care or be willing to undertake in post within 3 months.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here .
