Maintenance Engineer/ Shift Engineer

Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred) Salary: 40,000 - 53,000 DOE (Includes overtime paid at 1.75x basic rate, dependent on experience) Escape Recruitment is looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join a secure organisation and become part of a small, experienced engineering team. The role involves working in a busy, fast moving environment, carrying out planned maintenance as well as responding quickly to breakdowns. Shift Pattern Peak Season (July - September): ~12-hour shifts ~ Rotating pattern: 4 days on / 1 day off / 4 nights on / 3 days off Off-Peak Season (October - June): Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30 Friday: 07:30 - 14:00 Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections, and testing Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults effectively Undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment Support continuous improvement of plant reliability and performance Work collaboratively within a small engineering team in a high-output environment About You Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification Strong fault-finding skills on electrical control systems and PLC-controlled equipment Experience with conveyors, chain-driven systems, and industrial processing equipment Confident working independently and as part of a team
