Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in East Kilbride. Our client is a long-established business supplying specialist machinery and manufacturing solutions to the food production sector across the UK and Ireland, offering a varied role combining site-based maintenance with field-based engineering support at customer locations. Full-time permanent position ~ Working week of Monday to Friday ~£Company van provided ~34 days annual leave ~ Company pension scheme and enhanced paternity pay ~ Opportunities for training and development As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include: Carrying out routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment Conducting servicing, maintenance and installation of specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK, with occasional travel to Ireland Providing demonstrations and basic training to customers on equipment use Maintaining accurate maintenance records and working closely with production teams to minimise downtime To be considered as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need: A strong mechanical engineering background with experience in a manufacturing environment A full UK driving licence - a willingness to travel is essential Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous but not essential Interested in this Maintenance Engineer role?
