Principal Teacher of Technical & Art, Sgoil Lionacleit
35 hours per week, Permanent Position
£67,656 per annum, inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

The purpose of this post is to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the school in respect of the following areas:

(a) The leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues.
(b) Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance.
(c) Whole school policy and implementation.
(d) Working with partners.

The purpose of this post is to perform tasks as directed by the head teacher, having reasonable regard to overall workload, in relation to the duties and responsibilities listed below, as appropriate to the management structure of the school. The post also carries a class teaching commitment in the postholder’s specialist subject.

The successful candidate must have an appropriate degree / diploma in the subject area of Technical and GTC Scotland Registration.

The above teaching post is full time, permanent and the salary is in accordance with current regulations and inclusive of £2,997 distant islands allowance.
