Job Description

We’re looking for a Junior/Midweight Digital Designer to help turn client briefs, brand guidelines, audience insight and creative direction into clear, polished digital design assets that support measurable growth - initially focused on one client in the Health Tech space.

This is a role for someone early-to-midway through their design career who wants to grow quickly, work strategically and build strong digital creative instincts. You’ll support the production of campaign creative, paid social assets, landing page designs, email assets, display ads and other marketing materials.

The role will initially be focused on supporting one key client in the Health Tech space. You’ll be embedded in live client work from the start, with support and direction from Ladder’s internal team.

This role requires fluent English, strong communication skills and the ability to think beyond execution.

You’ll need to understand why a design is being created, who it is for, what message it needs to communicate, and how it supports the client’s commercial goals.

About Ladder

Ladder builds outsourced digital growth teams for some of the most ambitious companies in the world.

We partner with high-growth startups and global brands to solve complex growth problems by embedding strategy, performance marketing, creative and technology into a single integrated team.

Our teams operate as an extension of our clients’ businesses, combining strong strategic thinking, digital execution and creative problem-solving to help brands grow in modern performance environments.

Ladder is a creative-powered growth marketing agency focused on strategic digital marketing and data-driven creativity.

As our client work continues to grow in scale and complexity, we’re looking for a Junior/Midweight Digital Designer who can help us produce high-quality creative work, support fast-moving client needs and grow into a stronger creative contributor over time.

The Role

We’re hiring a Junior/Midweight Digital Designer to join our growing team.

This role sits at the intersection of digital design, performance creative and marketing execution.

You’ll work closely with strategists, copywriters, marketers and senior designers to create assets that are visually strong, strategically aligned and built for real-world campaign use.

You’ll be expected to work strategically, not just produce assets. That means understanding briefs, asking smart questions, thinking about the audience, interpreting feedback properly and making design decisions that support the campaign objective.

You’ll be responsible for producing design work across digital channels, adapting creative concepts into different formats, supporting campaign iteration and maintaining a high level of visual quality across client deliverables.

This is a strong fit for someone with good visual taste, strong attention to detail, fluent English and a genuine interest in how design contributes to marketing performance. You do not need to be a senior designer, but you do need to be commercially aware, proactive, organised, comfortable communicating clearly, and able to improve quickly through feedback.

Contract-to-Hire Structure

This role will start as a contract engagement, with clear intent to convert into a full-time role.

We are looking to make a permanent hire, but we want to find the right candidate and validate the role through real client work before making a long-term commitment. We believe the best way to do that is by working together in practice first.

The initial contract period will be hands-on and embedded in live projects, focused initially on one key Health Tech client. If there is a strong mutual fit, the intention is for the role to become full-time.
