We are hiring for our client, a leading mechanical engineering company with an excellent reputation for delivering large-scale commercial and industrial projects across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their Cookstown-based team.

This Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager role offers the opportunity to work across retail, education, healthcare, hotel, and infrastructure projects while supporting major main contractors on high-value developments. The successful Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager will play a key role in overseeing project delivery, client relationships, and commercial performance.

  • The Role

    • Oversee mechanical contracts from pre-construction through to completion
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
    • Manage cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial performance
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones
    • Provide practical, solutions-focused support across multiple live projects
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

    The Person

    • Mechanical Engineering Degree or Time Served Plumber
    • 5+ years' experience within Mechanical / Plumbing / M&E projects
    • Experience managing commercial or industrial contracts
    • Strong communication and organisational skills
    • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
    • Ambitious individuals looking to progress into a more senior role are encouraged to apply
    • Ability to travel to projects throughout the UK / Ireland – 3 days per week
