Accounts Assistant

Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's leading Construction and Engineering clients with offices based in Belfast.

Due to continuous company growth and success, my client is seeking to appointment an Accounts Assistant to join their team, and work alongside the Finance Manager.

This role is offering full-time, permanent employment, the opportunity to make the role your own, and work in a very successful and expanding organisation.

The successful candidate with assist the Finance Manager with the day-to-day transactional accounts, and the daily responsibilities will include:

• General purchase ledger duties
• Uploading invoices to customers portals
• Matching and posting invoices to purchase orders ensuring correct coding, currency and vat rate.
• Posting payments (direct debits etc)
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Uploading invoices to customers portals
• Credit control

Essential Criteria:

• A minimum of two years' experience working at an Accounts Assistant level
• IT Proficient in accounting software
• The ability to work along, as well as part of a team

Salary

• £28,000- £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
