Joiner – Antrim
Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently recruiting a joiner, you will be responsible for producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools.
Main duties:
- Producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools
- Interpreting and reading workshop/design and CAD drawings.
- Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
- Ensuing delivery dates for all items produced are met and maintained.
- Adherence to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and responsible manner.
- Any other duties within the Job Holder's sphere of knowledge, experience or competency as requested.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience of high quality carpentry and joinery.
- Ability to interpret and read workshop/design and CAD drawings
- Experienced in the use of wood working machines
- Ability to set up work pieces and tools.
- Process work effectively and produce quality workmanship
Preferred Criteria:
- Previous experience gained within a manufacturing or shopfitting environment
