The Home

Willow Grove is a beautiful, modern care home situated in Dungannon. Our spacious home has a team of talented, highly-skilled, professionals and provides person-centred residential care for older people, including those living with dementia.

The Willow Grove team are proud of their strong links with the local community, including with councillors and external healthcare practitioners, ensuring our residents have all that they need, whilst their health and wellbeing is well-tended to.

Our sociable amenities, for residents to enjoy, include a variety of comfortable lounges and dining the private bedrooms are fully-furnished, all with en-suite facilities, and residents are able to bring their own home accessories and furniture, to personalise their room and make it their own space their home.

About the role:

As a Care Team Leader at Kathryn Homes, you’ll be all about professionalism, kindness, and compassion. The Care Team Leader role requires you to plan and provide high-quality care that makes our residents feel safe, respected, and independent.

You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring they are keeping up with the highest care standards. Keeping accurate records and communicating well with your colleagues are key parts of your role.

Our Care Team Leaders also support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, giving physical, social, and emotional care to residents. You will handle medication and make sure everything is in order with medication audits.

About The Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care while promoting residents dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely care records in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of the home/unit during shifts and deputise for management when required.
  • Administer and manage medication safely in accordance with company policies and national guidelines.
  • Support, supervise, and mentor care staff, identifying training and development needs.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, rota planning, and attendance monitoring.
  • Ensure residents personal care needs are met to the highest standard, including hygiene, dressing, and meal support.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and respect for residents cultural, religious, and personal values.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and infection-controlled environment, reporting any health & safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, company policies, and mandatory training requirements.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a positive role model approach at all times.
