Job Description
We're looking for a Traffic Management Manager to join our A66 Northern Trans-Pennine team based in Penrith.
Location: Penrith - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week – will consider condensed hours. There is some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak
Salary: £55,000 - £63,000 per year + private healthcare + £5.9k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As a Traffic Management Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of all traffic management aspects for this major highway scheme. You'll be working alongside dedicated professionals, supporting the Traffic Management Lead and Project Manager whilst overseeing technical compliance, planning, and design. Your day to day will include:
• Supporting the Traffic Management Lead and Project Manager with all traffic management requirements, from resource allocation and design to National Highways governance and stakeholder engagement
• Assisting with the production of method statements, risk assessments, and traffic management drawings
• Chairing liaison meetings with the Police, contractors, clients and other stakeholders
• Carrying out independent audits of network traffic management and conducting traffic safety audits
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including Kier and National Highways policies
