Vice President of Finance (UK Hybrid)
Reports to the CFO. Build the financial operating system for a future £1bn Software Platform.
The Opportunity
OneAdvanced is the UK’s largest privately owned software business, delivering mission‑critical SaaS solutions across multiple vertical markets. The Group generates £260m ARR, 90%+ recurring revenue and 40%+ EBITDA margins, and is supported by Vista Equity Partners and BC Partners.
This high‑impact executive role has significant exposure to the Board, investors and Executive Committee, and is designed as a pathway toward future CFO responsibility within a PE‑backed software business.
The Role
- Partner closely with the CFO, CEO, Board and Executive Committee.
- Architect and lead the Group’s operating performance framework.
- Elevate Finance Business Partnering into a world‑class strategic capability.
- Improve forecasting credibility, planning accuracy and operational accountability.
- Drive economically rigorous decision‐making across the organisation.
- Shape investment prioritisation, resource allocation and value creation.
- Build the financial architecture required for scalable growth.
- Help define the future operating model of a large‑scale SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the annual plan, long‑range plan and rolling forecasting process.
- Establish a disciplined monthly and quarterly operating cadence.
- Create forward visibility of risks, opportunities and trade‑offs.
- Build driver‑based performance management across the organisation.
- Embed a coherent financial decision‑making framework across all functions.
- Improve organisational predictability, accountability and execution discipline.
- Lead Finance Business Partnering across Product, Technology, Commercial and Services.
- Develop a high‑performance, commercially respected FBP function.
- Embed Finance deeply within operational leadership teams.
- Raise the quality of insight, challenge and decision support.
- Develop leadership capability across the broader finance organisation.
- Deliver high‑quality reporting and analysis for executive and investor stakeholders.
- Define and embed key performance architecture of a scaled SaaS platform.
- Drive deeper organisational understanding of retention, expansion, margin and growth efficiency dynamics.
- Build increasingly predictive forecasting capabilities using leading indicators.
- Support disciplined capital allocation and strategic investment decisions.
- Partner on M&A evaluation, integration and value realisation.

Candidate Profile
- Senior commercial finance leadership experience within a scaled SaaS or technology environment (£150m+ revenue).
- Experience operating in private‑equity‑backed businesses, ideally through significant scale or exit events.
- Track record of influencing Product, Commercial and operational leadership teams.
- Experience supporting pricing strategy, investment cases, transformation or M&A activity.
- Strong exposure to Board and investor environments.
- Experience building and leading high‑performing finance organisations.

- Deep understanding of SaaS economics, recurring revenue models and growth efficiency.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear commercial decisions.
