Job Description

The Technical and Investment Director is accountable to the Connect Plus Chief Executive for the technical performance, asset management strategy and asset investment decisions of Connect Plus. The role covers all technical performance aspects relating to works including lifecycle investment (renewal / heavy repairs), National Highways funded improvements and third‑party projects. For lifecycle aspects under direct Connect Plus control the role ensures the effective planning, delivery, and optimisation of lifecycle investment, asset performance, and technical governance to meet contractual, financial, and handback requirements.

The location of the role is at the Connect Plus head office in South Mimms, with travel to other operational depots and offices around the network and for meetings with key stakeholders.
