Overview
As a New Business Producer, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across key sectors and professional services. This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to shape the growth strategy by identifying new sectors and distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Lead conversion efforts to meet or exceed business targets.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with prospective clients and partners.
- Work closely with colleagues, global partners, and introducers to expand distribution channels.
- Contribute to annual business planning and forecasting processes.
- Attend and lead prospect meetings.
- Develop proposal documents, tender responses, and presentation materials.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with service teams to ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor service delivery standards and maintain regular contact with clients across your portfolio, including allocated house accounts.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients.
- Negotiation, persuasion, and delivering client-focused solutions.
- Solid understanding of relevant insurance classes and broader health, risk, and wellbeing strategies is advantageous.
- Broad understanding of the Financial Services or Insurance sector.
