Mott MacDonald has engineered over 10,000 km of transmission lines worldwide and now, as the UK shifts towards Net Zero, you will work with a team of experts in the design and modernisation of high voltage pylons and conductors that carry electricity from renewable sources to the grid—a key part of the shift to renewable energy.
Our graduates get involved in technical design, site visits, and cross‑team collaboration with environmental teams and substation engineers.
You will work closely with our experts to provide our clients high‑value technical support through all phases, including:
- Technical Design
- Site visits
- Cross team collaboration
Candidate Specification

To be eligible, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
