The Opportunity

As Senior Product Manager for IT & Cyber Risk, you will set the strategic direction for one of Diligent's most critical and fastest‑growing product areas – defining how AI reshapes the way organisations identify, assess, and act on IT and cyber risk.

You will own the product vision, roadmap, and outcomes for IT & Cyber Risk on the Diligent One Platform. You will partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and senior leadership to build products that give CISOs, risk managers, and boards the clarity they need when it matters most. This role carries real strategic weight and high executive visibility.

  • Define how LLMs surface cyber insights for boards
  • Influence roadmap across the Diligent One Platform
  • Partner with engineering on AI model integration

  • Drive OKRs and north star metrics with leadership
  • Build business cases for strategic investment

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the multi‑year product strategy for IT & Cyber Risk, aligned to Diligent's platform vision and company OKRs
  • Develop deep market intelligence: tracking competitor moves, emerging cyber regulations, and technology trends to shape the roadmap
  • Build and present compelling product business cases to senior leadership and the executive team

AI‑Powered Product Development

  • Lead the design and delivery of AI‑native features that automate risk identification, prioritisation, and reporting for enterprise clients
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define how large language models and AI agents can enhance cyber risk workflows
  • Define and track AI product performance metrics, ensuring features deliver measurable business and user outcomes
  • Stay at the forefront of AI advances relevant to GRC, bringing new capability ideas to the roadmap proactively

Roadmap & Delivery

  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch across web, mobile, and API surfaces
  • Maintain a prioritised, clearly articulated backlog with well‑defined user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with engineering leads to ensure technical feasibility, quality, and on‑time delivery
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, user engagement metrics, and health indicators post‑launch
  • Be the authoritative voice of the customer: conducting regular research, interviews, and advisory sessions with CISOs, risk managers, and IT leaders
  • Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Marketing to ensure successful go‑to‑market execution
  • Communicate product direction clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders at all levels

What You'll Bring

Experience & Domain

  • 7+ years in product management, with significant SaaS experience in recent years
  • Deep domain knowledge in IT risk, cyber risk, or information security – you've worked closely with CISOs, security teams, or risk functions
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering complex B2B product roadmaps end‑to‑end
  • Experience working in or alongside GRC, compliance, or enterprise risk environments (highly desirable)

AI & Technical Acumen

  • Demonstrated experience building or shaping AI‑powered product features: you understand how LLMs, agents, and ML models work in practice
  • Comfortable engaging with engineering and data science teams on technical design decisions
  • Able to evaluate AI use cases critically: balancing innovation with trust, explainability, and regulatory considerations

Strategic & Leadership Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking: you can connect daily product decisions to long‑term business outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with experience influencing without authority across senior cross‑functional teams
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to distil complexity into clear, compelling narratives
  • Data‑driven decision maker: comfortable with product analytics, experimentation frameworks, and OKR setting
