Role Description

Due to continued growth, Gerald Honey Partnership are pleased to announce vacancies in the South of the UK. The ideal candidate will have minimum 15-20 years experience within the Lift Industry and will have, as a minimum NVQ levels 3/4, or equivalent. This is a full‑time hybrid role located in the South of the UK with flexibility for some remote work. As a Consulting Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting lift system surveys and writing technical specifications, providing project management support, liaising with contractors, commissioning authorisation/certification, quality verification, technical support, and preparing reports with recommendations for clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining client relationships and ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of lift systems
  • Experience in conducting lift system surveys and writing technical specifications
  • Experience in project management support and liaison with contractors
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues and provide technical support for clients
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • NVQ levels 3/4, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 15-20 years experience within the Lift Industry
