The role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to define and deliver impactful product outcomes within a complex and evolving problem space. You will operate with end-to-end ownership of a defined domain, translating company strategy into clear product direction, priorities, and measurable outcomes. Working closely with a cross-functional team, you will identify the most valuable problems to solve, lead discovery, and ensure that the work delivered drives meaningful customer and business impact.
As AI continues to increase the pace and capability of engineering teams, the focus shifts towards defining the right problems, setting clear direction, and prioritising the most valuable work. Your role will be central to ensuring effort is focused on what will have the greatest impact. You will be expected to make high-quality decisions in ambiguous environments, balancing speed, risk, and long-term value. Your impact will come through strong product judgement, deep understanding of your domain, and the ability to consistently deliver outcomes rather than output. Alongside this, you will contribute to improving Product ways of working and help raise the overall quality of product thinking and execution within your team.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and evolve a clear product direction for your domain, aligned to company objectives and customer needs
- Translate strategy into clear problem statements, priorities, and actionable plans
- Own outcomes for your area, ensuring delivery is aligned to meaningful goals and measurable KPIs
- Identify and validate customer problems through research, data, and market insight
- Lead discovery to ensure the team is solving the right problems before committing to solutions
- Design and run experiments to test assumptions, reduce risk, and inform decision‑making
- Make high-quality trade‑offs to maximise impact, including challenging or reshaping low‑value work
- Consider and account for the broader and longer‑term impact of product decisions, including effects across journeys, systems, and customer segments
- Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial stakeholders to align on priorities, trade‑offs, and execution
- Ensure solutions are iterated based on evidence, with a clear link between what is delivered and the outcomes achieved
- Monitor performance post‑launch, using data and feedback to continuously improve outcomes
- Ensure product decisions are data‑led, evidence‑based, with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and learning loops
- Balance short‑term progress with long‑term product quality, scalability, and strategic alignment
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, building alignment around problems, decisions, and trade‑offs
- Work directly with Commercial stakeholders to support product adoption and resolve usage challenges, using their feedback to inform prioritisation and improve product outcomes
- Apply and reinforce strong Product practices within the team across discovery, experimentation, and outcome‑focused delivery
- Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to improve customer outcomes, increase efficiency, or unlock new value
Required Product Skills
- Strong track record of owning and delivering product outcomes within a defined domain or problem space
- Experience translating high‑level strategy into clear product direction and priorities
- Solid expertise across the product lifecycle, including discovery, validation, delivery, and iteration
- Ability to define, track, and use metrics to guide decisions and measure success
- Strong product judgement, particularly in prioritisation and trade‑offs within ambiguous environments
- Ability to generate and synthesise insights from qualitative and quantitative sources to shape direction
- Experience identifying and validating customer problems before committing to solutions
- Ability to consider the impact of product decisions, including effects across journeys and customer segments
- Good understanding of how to deliver value iteratively, ensuring speed does not compromise outcome quality
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how product decisions contribute to business outcomes
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate problems, decisions, and rationale to a range of audiences
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment without direct authority
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clarity to complex problems
- Collaborative approach to working with Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial partners
- Ability to challenge constructively and improve decision quality
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability, with a focus on outcomes rather than activity
- Strong organisational awareness, understanding how to navigate stakeholders and drive progress
