Key responsibilities:

  • Taking day‑to‑day ownership of core fund finance activities, including oversight and review of fund accounts prepared by third‑party administrators
  • Managing complex treasury and cash management, including forecasting liquidity requirements, overseeing cash movements, and supporting funding decisions
  • Overseeing loan facilities and leverage, including drawdowns, repayments, covenant monitoring, and fund‑level controls
  • Acting as a senior point of review across quarterly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and consistency
  • Working closely with investment and investor‑facing teams to support fund‑level reporting, performance analysis and ad‑hoc investor queries
  • Managing the audit process and liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other third‑party providers
  • Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the fund finance function, ensuring deadlines are met across multiple workstreams
  • Providing oversight, review and guidance to more junior team members, while remaining hands‑on in execution
  • Identifying issues, resolving them efficiently, and maintaining strong controls in a growing fund environment
  • Bringing a practical, solutions‑oriented mindset to a high‑responsibility interim assignment with clear ownership and accountability

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Solid in‑house experience within a private equity fund finance team
  • Strong exposure to complex treasury, cash management and administrator oversight
  • The confidence to operate at a senior level without needing a purely strategic remit
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a growing, fast paced fund finance team
