Responsibilities
- Leading the design and development of mechanical systems for complex applications
- Producing and reviewing CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation
- Defining system architectures, materials, and components to meet engineering requirements
- Supporting integration, testing, and commissioning activities across disciplines
- Conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with technical standards
- Collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles including stress, materials, and manufacturability
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
- Experience designing for cost, reliability, and testability
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions
- Knowledge of systems engineering or multidisciplinary design environments
