Head of Engineering
This is a high-impact, hands‑on builder role responsible for designing, building, and scaling LEVL’s AI‑first product and internal AI capabilities. You will own the development of an AI‑powered Co‑Pilot for fleet customers, while also embedding AI across the business – from support and operations through to sales and marketing. This is not a strategy‑only role. You will be expected to build, ship, and iterate quickly, working directly with the CEO and playing a critical role in shaping the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end development of LEVL’s AI Co‑Pilot product, from MVP to scalable, production‑ready solution
- Design and implement scalable, secure, multi‑tenant architecture
- Build and integrate AI‑driven workflows across the business
- Work hands‑on with AI tools such as OpenAI and Anthropic/Claude
- Collaborate directly with the CEO on product direction
- Rapidly prototype and iterate with a focus on commercial outcomes
- Support and mentor internal team members
- Contribute to building a future engineering team
What We’re Looking For
Must Have
- Experience building and shipping AI‑powered products
- Hands‑on experience with LLMs
- Ability to move quickly from concept to MVP
- Experience integrating AI into business workflows
- Strong ownership mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with Intercom, HubSpot or similar tools
- SaaS, data, IoT or telematics experience
- Startup or scale‑up experience
- Experience building scalable systems
