About the Role

Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer – responsible for supporting and delivering designs for a range of project types and sizes within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across several building sectors.
• Lead the development of initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions are appropriate to the brief and regulatory standards.
• Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a communicative, collaborative and timely approach. This client‑facing role involves attending project meetings and translating the brief within the project team.
• Monitor fee expenditure, resources and work delivered in partnership with the team leader.
• Mentor and support the next‑generation professionals, including apprentices and graduates.

About You

To be successful you will need:

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record delivering on a range of complex projects.
• Experience with modern technical delivery processes and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
• Demonstrable experience working with clients, contractors and architects in a design‑oriented or consultant role.
• Self‑awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity.
• Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
