We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Corporate Actions to join our enterprise custody Services Operations team. This role is located in Manchester.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role within the corporate action team by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence, ensuring alignment with BNY's principles.
  • Lead and manage corporate actions operations, ensuring adherence to service standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client service delivery, by leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies, ensuring timely and accurate client reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and expertise.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity and risk management.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and professional growth across the team.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications in finance or business administration preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in financial services operations.
  • Good experience of corporate actions, client service and people management required.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills across diverse teams, with excellent interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Experience in holding teams responsible to department KRI’s and undertaking annual performance reviews with teams.
  • Demonstrable interest in continuous learning and delivery of process improvements, including the use of digital tools and AI.
