Clinical Negligence case auditor and support Medical Law Services (MLS)
Location: Hybrid, Liverpool

Responsibilities

  • Provide key legal insight and input across all services provided by MLS.
  • Review and audit clinical negligence leads vetted by the MLS team.
  • Assist in shaping and delivering legal training across the MLS business.
  • Strengthen decision making by offering clear, confident guidance on complex legal matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, analysing trends and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams, ensuring legal considerations are embedded at every stage of the MLS process.
  • Champion best practice and compliance to ensure all case‑related decisions align with legal frameworks, internal policies, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and wider business projects to improve processes, enhance quality, and strengthen customer outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in clinical negligence case management.
  • Background in legal case assessment and screening of legal cases.
  • Legal expertise with sharp analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
  • High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in decision making.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and proactive identification of trends.
  • Strong experience with Proclaim or other software tools such as Adobe, Microsoft.
